About the Role

As a Kitchen / Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting resident health, comfort, and well-being through food service and kitchen support. This position assists with food preparation, meal service, sanitation, and dietary compliance while working closely with kitchen staff to maintain a clean, safe, and organized dining environment. The role is well suited for dependable, service-oriented individuals who enjoy meaningful work in a supportive senior living setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation, primarily cold foods such as salads, desserts, and beverages

  • Ensure adherence to dietary restrictions, physician-ordered diets, and resident preferences

  • Support tray-line operations and serve meals to residents with courtesy and professionalism

  • Assist with dishwashing and maintaining sanitation standards

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining environment

  • Support infection control and proper food-handling practices

Requirements

  • Entry-level candidates welcome; food service or dietary experience is a plus

  • Ability to follow food preparation and safety instructions

  • Willingness to learn food safety and infection-control practices

  • Friendly, respectful, and resident-focused demeanor

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
